Here are my Landscape images.. I tried to get only a few but as I normally do.. I got click happy and just fell in love with so many different images!! I loved how the images seem to become more detailed in my lens.. I found that just ordinary landscapes seemed to be perfect on camera & print (as I have printed some).. I hope you all enjoy them as much as I did.. some are foggy, some are hazy and some are calm.. I loved them all!!

Framing
Ok so I photographed a wedding this past weekend and tried a few things out.. I tried framing through the mirror at the salon & a few other areas.. let me know what you think!
This is the mirror shot ...
This is using the hall passage way...
Utilizing a tree out back ...
Again utilizing the tree to add a bit of character in framing..
I may have more framing shots..I will add some later if I get the chance. Have a great day everyone!!
Perspective Composition
I found a bit of an interest in Perspective Composition so here are a couple pics in which I have taken that I feel falls into this category.....
Perspective Composition is... (my take) the positioning of objects to which the image produced seems almost 3D.
Perspective Composition is... (my take) the positioning of objects to which the image produced seems almost 3D.
to me this one seems to make the cow stand out as its in front of the barn (I am across the street & have zoomed in on the images)
this one seems to have a 3D sense to it as well as I am close range and the details seem to "pop" and present themselves.
This is another article that I came across in my readings...

Rule of Third Assignment
After reading the information on Composition and Aesthetics, I found myself trying to be more aware of the surroundings in each of my photos I take.. I either leave the extras (tree, flowers, people what have you) in the photo or choose to crop them to make a more aesthetic photo.
I absolutely LOVE the Rules of Third rule!!! Really makes me stop and analyze my image & potential photos a bit more!!!

Week 4 - Assignment 2 - Catch up!
Week 4 Assignment #2... I ended up doing 5 different lighting situations for my flowers..
#1 is flowers under stovetop light only...
#2 is flowers with flash on camera only..
#3 is flowers with no flash or light above...
#4 is flowers outside without flash...
#5 is flowers outside with flash..
My process was to try different light settings... first I did the indoor photos & then decided to try them outside.. the flash helped inside to bring out the details a bit more but I found that I personally liked the image #3 without the lighting or flash.. seems to make for a more flattering photo...
The images of the flowers outside .. I also found that i liked the photo with out the flash on... :)
I played with my camera previous to these photos and did some night time shots of my solar globe outside... then also did some during the day... I absolutely LOVE the last image you see!! The light that was illuminated from the globe made for a great photo without having to turn on the flash...
Globe 1 is with out the flash...
Globe 2 is with the flash...
Globe 3 is at night with NO flash.. :)
To me...I feel that the flash takes away so much of the detail and just blurs the image to an extent?? Maybe its just me..lol!!!

Just had to share!!!
Sorry I havent posted.. been crazy ill with these darn allergies but now tryin to get back into the swing of things...lol.. anyhow.. I thought I would share our lil "moment" at my childcare today... we had some friends bring in an unknown moth or butterfly today as a sharing item.
The light brown one is the one that was brought in for sharing... it did NOT willingly leave the box when we tried to release it but eventually with a lil assistance it flew off onto the small embankment out back and stayed there all day. Later in the afternoon a dark brown one came and connected lorax's with the first. We think maybe they were mating.
We did a little research and found them to be what we think are Giant Polyphemus Moths and that they probably are mating. The article we used was...

REPOST: Complimentary Images
I found a couple of beautiful images that I have & feel they would fit well into the Complimentary Scheme... One is the Rainbow Farm in Barn in Barton VT & the other is a farm just out my front window.. Moulton Farm in East Charleston, VT.. The color scheme from all surrounding the barns are just perfect and seem to "flow" with the images!! The first image is just prior/during a rain storm that was passing & the second image was first thing in the morning while I sat on my deck with my morning coffee..on the same day!! :) These are two of my favorite images.. please let me know what you all think!!
REPOST: Compare & Contrast
I chose to compare & contrast the tree itself and an image of the blossoms!!
COMPARE & CONTRAST:
Image 2 of the trees & close up of blossom 3...
I guess when I took the picture I weren't really sure what I wanted to capture! The tree to me seems "blah" then when the sunlight hits it - it begins to kinda "sparkle" lol.... which kinda made me want to capture the blossom & detail a lot more.. so I did just that and with the light rain that we had just prior to the pics.. I was able to capture some of the shiny wet droplets!! I personally LOVE the up close blossom as it shows so much more definition of the details. The first picture does NOT do the tree justice.. its when you get up close and examine it - that you realize how beautiful apple blossoms/tree are!!! Please let me know what you think everyone!!!

Macro Shots!!
I absolutely LOVED shooting in Macro!! The details were so remarkable to me & my own family! I ended up doing more than the required one collage as I took way too many pics!! My favorites in my own shots were that of the bees collecting nectar on the blueberry blossoms and my flower garder iris'.. the depth of the details were def hard to see unless you had that "close up" shot. I did find it difficult a few times to capture that great shot as I wanted to click away and due to the focusing, was unable to click fast.. patience seemed to be a virtue that I had tested..lol! I did have a great time shooting macro style and will probably do more so as time goes on!! Hope you all enjoy as well!!
